Italian Competition Authority’s inquiry on football clubs

The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM), with its resolutions of December 15, 2020, has closed the inquiry initiated in January 2020, involving 11 Serie A football clubs, and has determined the vexatious nature of certain clauses of the general terms and conditions applicable to the purchase of tickets which excluded the refund of the tickets in the event of home matches rescheduled or to be play behind closed doors.
